Wag the… cat?
September 14, 2009emily No Comments »During my third trip to the vet’s office this morning (don’t ask), I noticed that one of the adoption kitties was out of his crate while it was being cleaned, and I thought I’d say hello. I walked over to him and he marched right up to me, with his tail WAGGING. Wait, what? Yeah, that’s right. Tony (for that is his name) has a docked tail and he wags at people. Not unlike a dog. I petted him for several minutes and he continued to wag. It was the damnedest sight. I asked what his story was, because he was so friendly and had clearly been well loved by a family once. They told me that his elderly owner had died recently and her husband put him up for adoption, thinking that a young family would be just right for him. My goodness, Tony is a sweetheart.
