A million lights, they flicker there*

Confession: when I was in high school, I did musical theater. LOTS of musical theater. Annie Get Your Gun, The Music Man, Oklahoma, Meet Me In St. Louis, The King and I, South Pacific, Babes in Arms, and Anything Goes. I sang, I danced, I… I performed, people. I took music lessons, singing lessons, jazz and ballet lessons. Which leads me to one of my greatest life regrets: I never took tap. All my life I’ve wanted to take tap lessons, a fact that John can attest to given that I often attempt to tap dance in our kitchen. And then Maggie went and took tap lessons, as part of her life list, and… well… You’ll have to excuse me while I go check the yellow pages for tap instructors.

*Bonus points if you catch the reference.

I *SERIOUSLY* had no idea that you did ANY of that!

How did I not know about this??

But let’s talk about me – I have never taken ballet or tap.  Name another dance and I have taken classes.  So let’s take tap together when you and I are neighbors and have that gerbil tube connecting our houses!!

It’s from SInging in the Rain! (a million hearts beat quicker there…) One of my all time favorite movies. I have my second tap class of the year tonight. I took it as a kid and was away from it too long. I really hope you find a class. It’s the best.
