It seemed like such a good idea at the time
July 21, 2009emily No Comments »So then there was that time that I put Miracle Grow in my hair. Why, you ask? Well, obviously I was hoping that it would make my hair grow longer. No, seriously. My sister told me that a friend of hers had recently been to a salon for a haircut and instead of grabbing the spray bottle with water, the stylist accidentally grabbed the (unmarked) spray bottle with Miracle Grow. (Somehow, the idea that a stylist would have Miracle Grow at the ready didn’t strike me as odd.) And lo, my sister’s friend’s hair grew really quickly. Long hair without the pesky waiting? THAT would be worth putting Miracle Grow in my hair, I decided. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. In retrospect, I’m lucky the stuff didn’t make all my hair fall out. Can you imagine showing up to high school the next day, bald as can be? I’m pretty sure I would have fought to be homeschooled at that point.
